The beaches of Cefn Sidan at Pembrey Coastal Park and Tenby are 30 mins away. Carmarthen town centre is only 7 miles away on the A48 (15 mins) and provides you with supermarkets, leisure facilities and plenty of amenities.

Cyclists and Walkers are welcome; you are only 200 yards from cycle route 47.

There are two restaurant/pubs in the village at Llanddarog (1.5 miles) and two pubs in the village in Porthyrhyd (1 mile), all serving good food.
